Excellent, traditional fourth solid foods for babies from 9-12 months offering easy digestion, healthy weight gain, energy, and essential nutrients, without causing cold/cough issues like ripe bananas, making them ideal for boosting immunity and brain development. This food is served on top of your regular feed.

According to WHO recommendations, starting millet for babies as cereals or porridges after 6 months, along with continued breastfeeding, is advised. However, it’s crucial to consult your paediatrician before introducing millet for babies or any new food. The “3-Day Rule” for babies is a traditional guideline for introducing solid foods and when introducing new foods, to easily identify any potential allergies, sensitivities such as gas or bloating.

Proportion of Ingredients: 7% Ragi Millet Powder, 7% Little Millet Powder, 7% Foxtail Millet Powder, 7% Barnyard Millets, 7% Pearl Millet, 7% Kodo Millet, 29% Kunnamkaya Powder, 29% Nendran Banana Powder.

Ragi or Finger Millet: Rich in protein and calcium. It is also one of the best weight gaining foods for babies. Ragi is also a good source of dietary fiber, protein and Vitamins B1, B2 and B6.
Little Millet: High fiber, low GI, helps regulate bowels, gentle on the gut, best for Introducing new textures, steady energy.

How to prepare: Porridge (Kanji): Cook the powder with water or milk and serve as a nutritious porridge.
Mix Two Tablespoon powder (30 grams) in 6/9 Tablespoon water and cook for 5-7 minutes for a porridge consistency or mix thinner for a drink. Cool: Let it cool down to a safe, warm temperature before feeding.

Usage: Once a Day.

Considerations/Cautions for Usage
Watch Digestion: If your baby gets gas or constipated, thin the porridge.
Watch any potential allergies, sensitivities such as gas or bloating

Weight gain according to Age: Gain of 175 to 210 g per week from birth to three months. Double the birth weight by 5 months. Gain of about 400 g of weight every month till one year. Triple the birth weight by 1 year. 4 times the birth weight by 2 years. 5 times the birth weight by 3 years. 6 times the birth weight by 5 years. 7 times the birth weight by 7 years.
10 times the birth weight by 10 years
